Installation

How to install Slayer Legend on Android, iOS, and PC, plus account linking and choosing a server before you start playing.

Installing the Game

Slayer Legend: Idle RPG (known in Korea as 슬레이어 키우기, literally "Raising a Slayer") is developed by GEAR2 and is free to play with optional in-app purchases. It is available on both major mobile stores:

  • Android - search "Slayer Legend" on Google Play, or look for the package by GEAR2 (com.gear2.growslayer). Watch out for similarly named clones; the real one has the pixel-art Slayer on the icon and GEAR2 as the developer.
  • iOS - search "Slayer Legend" on the App Store. Same developer, same game, progress systems are identical across platforms.

Playing on PC

There is no native PC client, but this is an idle game and plenty of players run it on their computer anyway. An Android emulator (BlueStacks, LDPlayer, and similar) works fine - install the emulator, sign in to Google Play inside it, and install Slayer Legend as normal. Performance requirements are modest since the game is 2D pixel art, so even a weak laptop handles it. Some players keep a second device or emulator running purely for farming sessions... the game rewards screen time, and an emulator is the cheap way to give it some.

Link Your Account First

Let me be very clear about this one: link your account before you invest any real time. The game starts you on a guest account, and a guest account lives and dies with your device. In the settings menu you can bind your progress to a platform account. It takes thirty seconds, and it is the difference between "I dropped my phone in a lake, oh well" and losing months of progression. Do it in your first session.

Choosing a Server

When you create your character you pick a server. Servers are separate characters with separate progress, so if you have friends in the game, ask which server they are on before you commit - the wiki's own progression guide, for what it's worth, was written from experience on both Server 1 and Server 2. Your name can be changed later - you unlock a rename at level 100 - so don't agonize over that part.

After Installing

Once you are in, the game hands you straight to the guide quests, which is exactly where you want to be. Head over to Your First Steps for what to actually do in that first hour, and consider joining the community Discord (linked in the wiki footer and on the home page) - it is the fastest place to get questions answered, and most of the strategy knowledge in this wiki started life as a Discord conversation.
