Equipment Enhancement
How enhancement works in Slayer Legend - Enhance Cubes, the level 200 cap, what to level first, and where cubes actually come from.
Enhancement Overview
Owning good gear is half the job; the other half is leveling it. Enhancement pumps
Enhance Cubes into a piece of equipment to raise its level and multiply its stat contribution. It applies across the board - weapons, accessories, and your class all drink from the same cube supply, which makes cubes one of the most quietly contested resources in the game. There is never a point where you have enough of them. Plan accordingly.
The Level 200 Cap
Standard equipment enhances to a maximum of level 200. The exceptions are at the very top of the ladder: the final Immortal weapon (Orr) and final accessory (Orb of Hope) can push beyond it - veteran players show these enhanced well past 300. Classes follow their own version of the same idea: a base cap of 200, raised by +50 per class awakening. Costs scale as levels climb, so the last stretch to a cap always costs dramatically more than the road that got you there. Standard idle-game rules apply - the cheap early levels on a new piece are always better value than the expensive last levels on an old one, right up until you're keeping a piece forever.
What to Enhance First
A simple priority that holds for most of the game:
- Your equipped weapon. It's your damage multiplier; every cube here pushes stages, and stages pay for everything else.
- Your class. Once unlocked at stage 120, class enhancement is a permanent account-wide multiplier and shares the cube budget.
- Your equipped accessory. Level it when survivability is the wall, not before. "Good enough" is a real tier for accessories.
And the caution that saves people pain: think before dumping cubes into gear you're about to replace. If your weapon is one fusion away from the next grade, those cubes may serve you better waiting for the upgrade. A replaced piece still contributes its owned effect from your collection, but your equipped multiplier is what wins fights - keep the cubes pointed at the piece you'll actually be wearing next week.
Where Cubes Come From
- Stage farming and idle rewards - the baseline drip, scaling with your stage. Notably, cube income holds up well offline, so overnight idling is genuinely productive for enhancement even when active play is off the table.
- The Closed Mine dungeon - the dedicated cube source, entered with your daily
Glow Feathers and boosted further by ad scrolls. Ten feathers a day, every day - the players who never skip the Mine simply out-enhance the players who do. - Events and quest rewards - periodic top-ups worth claiming but not planning around.
Related Systems
Enhancement raises levels within a grade; fusion is how you jump grades entirely - the two work together, cube-leveling what you own while fusing toward what's next. And once mythic-grade equipment enters the picture, Black Orb awakening adds a further layer on top of enhanced gear. One system at a time, though. The cube grind comes first, and it never really ends... it just gets bigger numbers.
