Companion Enhancement

How companion skills and passives level up in Slayer Legend - attribute stones, emeralds, the level 1500 passives, and sensible leveling priorities.

Enhancement Overview

Every companion grows along two tracks. Their three active skills each level to 100, delivering the effects you actually feel - Zeke's crit damage, Miho's gold, Luna's mana, Ellie's accuracy. And beneath those sits each companion's passive, a monster of a progression track that runs to level 1500 and consumes materials on a scale that makes the skill levels look like pocket change. Companion enhancement is not a project you finish; it's a pipeline you keep fed for the life of your account.

The Materials

Two currencies drive the whole system:

  • Attribute stones - element-typed stones (Fire,Water,Wind,Earth). They drop from stage play and idle rewards, arrive in starter packs and events, and each companion consumes their own element's supply.
  • Emeralds - earned chiefly by winning companion advancement battles, which makes them the scarcer bottleneck. Emeralds also unlock spirit equipment slots (15,000 total for all three), so the budget is contested - one more reason advancement battles are worth doing promptly rather than someday.

How big is the full pipeline? The community's tracking puts a single passive's complete 1-to-1500 climb at roughly 11.8 million stones and 2 million emeralds. Multiply by four companions and you understand why nobody rushes this - and why every stone matters.

What to Level First

Hedge first: any leveling here is good leveling, and after Ether it all generates skill mastery points too. But if you want the sharp version of the advice:

  1. The skills your build actually uses. Zeke's Lunatic and Blade Dance for damage accounts, Miho's Gold Rush for the farming economy, Luna's kit for skill builds, Ellie's accuracy when your hits start missing. Skill levels are cheap relative to passives and pay immediately.
  2. Passives as a background drip. Never force passive levels at the expense of skill levels - but never let the faucet sit fully closed either, since the passive track is where the long-term stat mass lives.
  3. Advancement battles the moment they're winnable. They gate emeralds, promotion option slots, and the page multipliers (page 2 rows count 1.5x, page 3 counts 2x) - the single biggest step-changes in companion power. Remember each battle bans the companion's own element from your loadout, so keep an off-element preset saved.

The Other Half: Promotion Options

Enhancement raises what companions do; promotion options raise what they are - dice-rolled stat lines across their pages, with the community's standing advice being full pages of max Extra ATK rolls (mana recovery excepted for dry skill builds). The two systems compound each other, and Companion Builds puts the whole picture together.
