Guide to Luna, the Water companion - mana recovery, extra mana, and skill damage, the engine behind every skill-heavy build.
Luna
Luna is the Water companion - a trainee magician, and the engine room of every skill-focused build in the game. Her kit reads modest next to Zeke's raw power: mana recovery, a bigger mana pool, and skill damage. But think about what actually limits a skill build. It isn't skill levels - it's the MP bar. A bar full of leveled actives that sits empty half the fight is a half-strength build, and Luna is the difference between "my skills fire when the MP allows" and "my skills fire on cooldown." Then Wisdom of War multiplies every one of those casts on top. Quiet kit, loud results.
Skills
| Skill | Effect | Max Lv |
|---|---|---|
| Mana Dope | Mana Recovery | 100 |
| Mana Amplification | Extra Mana | 100 |
| Wisdom of War | Skill Damage | 100 |
Her locked later skills mirror the others': a boost to the Blue soul weapon completion effect, bonus damage against Origin of Chaos (her late-game boss family), and a boost to Water spirit stats.
Passive: Sea's Understanding
Luna's passive climbs to level 1500, fed by
attribute stones and
Emeralds - on the order of twelve million stones and two million emeralds over its lifetime. Long game. The enhancement guide covers keeping the materials flowing.
Playing Around Luna
- Wisdom of War is the headline level. Skill damage multiplies your entire active bar - for a build built around Fulgurous spam or big Legendary nukes, it's among the best companion levels in the game.
- The mana pair scales with your ambitions. Early builds barely notice MP; late builds running expensive actives back-to-back live and die on recovery. If you're using Meditation to force casts, Luna's mana kit is telling you it wants levels.
- She defines the farming rhythm. Sustainable AoE spam across eight-monster waves is a mana problem before it's a damage problem - which is why farming builds that look identical on paper perform differently depending on Luna investment.
- Advancement battles: fought without Water skills. Plan the loadout before the fight, not during.
- Promotion options: Extra ATK by default, but this is the one companion where a mana recovery roll or two is openly recommended when your build runs dry - the standard advice, straight from the promotion options guide.
