Guide to Zeke, the Earth companion - HP, critical damage, and total ATK, plus his passive, locked skills, and leveling priorities.

Zeke

ZekeZeke is the Earth companion - a wandering swordsman, and the most straightforwardly powerful of the four. No clever niche, no economy angle: HP to keep you standing, critical damage to make your hits detonate, and a flat boost to total ATK. When players ask which companion matters most for raw progression, the honest answer is usually Zeke, because critical damage and ATK are the two levers every build pulls. He's the meat and potatoes. Eat your potatoes.

His locked later skills follow the same pattern as the others, tying him into the endgame web: Chaos Soul gains (feeding soul weapon engraving rerolls), damage reduction against Rift Demons (his assigned late-game boss family - note his is defensive where the others' are offensive), and a boost to Earth spirit stats.

Passive: Earth Interaction

Zeke's passive climbs to level 1500 like the rest, fed byattribute stones andEmeralds on the same long-haul economy as the other three companions. Passive leveling is also one of your skill mastery point sources after Ether, so the stones you feed Zeke pay out twice.

The Earth Synergy

Here's the detail that makes Zeke's element more than flavor: the Earth spirits are Loar, Radon, and Noah - which is to say, two-thirds of the community's standard boss lineup (Loar's boss-only skill damage and Noah's final-five-seconds multiplier) plus Radon, whose above-70%-HP damage bonus is a farming staple on strong accounts. Zeke's locked Earth Spirit Stats skill therefore boosts almost exactly the spirits you'd bring to a promotion fight anyway. His entire kit rhymes: crit damage and total ATK for the burst, HP to survive the timer, a spirit boost aimed at the boss squad, and even his Rift Demon skill is defensive where the other companions' boss skills are offensive. The game built him as the fight-night companion from top to bottom - lean into it.

The synergy runs the other way too. Earth passives like Earth's Will and Iron Will anchor half the community's skill setups, so an Earth-leaning build gets more from Zeke's ecosystem than any other element's - right up until his advancement battles ban Earth from your loadout entirely (more on that below).

Feeding Zeke

Zeke's growth economy is the standard companion pipeline: his three actives level to 100, and Earth Interaction climbs toward its 1500 cap on a diet ofEarth stones andEmeralds. The enhancement guide covers the pipeline in full, but the budgeting reality is worth repeating: emeralds are also what unlock spirit equip slots, so Zeke's passive competes with your spirit infrastructure for the same scarce currency. Skill levels first (they're cheap and immediate), passive as a steady background drip, and advancement battles the moment they're winnable - they gate the emeralds, the option slots, and the page multipliers all at once.

Playing Around Zeke

  • Lunatic and Blade Dance are the priority. Crit damage multiplies with your crit stats from the stat system, and total ATK needs no argument. Fortitude catches up when survival becomes the wall (promotion bosses will let you know).
  • He's the boss-fight companion. Farming setups flex toward Miho's gold or Luna's mana, but when you're staring down a promotion battle, Zeke's kit is doing the heaviest lifting.
  • Advancement battles: you'll fight without Earth skills to advance him - awkward, since Earth passives like Earth's Will and Iron Will anchor half the community's builds. Save a non-Earth loadout for the occasion.
  • Promotion options: max Extra ATK rolls, same as everyone - see Companion Builds for the reasoning.

Skill values per level are community-tracked and patch-sensitive - if your Zeke's numbers differ from what you read here, update the page.
