Guide to Miho, the Fire companion - damage resistance, dodge, and the famous Gold Rush, plus her passive, locked skills, and leveling priorities.
Miho
Miho is the Fire companion - a shadow-stepping looter with a split personality. Half her kit is survival (damage resistance and dodge, both checked against enemy level, both increasingly precious as you push above your weight). The other half is Gold Rush, and let's be honest, Gold Rush is why people love her. A percentage boost to total gold in a game where gold levels every combat stat isn't a farming perk - it's compound interest on your entire account. Every gold coin you'll ever earn, slightly bigger, forever.
Skills
| Skill | Effect | Max Lv |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow Step | Damage Resistance | 100 |
| Shadow Dance | Dodge | 100 |
| Gold Rush | Total Gold | 100 |
Her locked later skills complete the pattern: a boost to the Red soul weapon completion effect, bonus damage against Devournists (her late-game boss family), and a boost to Fire spirit stats - a natural pairing with the Fire farming spirits.
Passive: Fire Understanding
Miho's passive runs to level 1500 on the same economy as the others -
attribute stones and
Emeralds, roughly twelve million and two million respectively across the full climb. Drip-feed it; the enhancement guide covers the supply lines.
Playing Around Miho
- Gold Rush first, and it isn't close. It pays out on every kill you'll ever make. The gold guide covers how it stacks with Luck, Extra Monster Gold rolls, the spirit Todd, and the Lucky Pendent relic - the full farming economy is a stack of multipliers, and Miho holds one of the big ones.
- The defensive pair matters at walls. When a promotion boss or deep stage is killing you rather than out-lasting you, Shadow Step and Shadow Dance are levels you can buy with stones instead of gold.
- Advancement battles: fought without Fire skills - inconvenient if your damage bar leans Hellfire Slash and friends. Keep an off-element loadout ready.
- Promotion options: Extra ATK remains the default roll, though dedicated farming accounts have a case for Monster Gold rolls on her pages. Companion Builds walks through the tradeoff.
