Gold Farming Guide

The complete gold economy of Slayer Legend - every multiplier in the stack, where gold actually goes, and how to maximize income at any stage of the game.

Why Gold Never Stops Mattering

Gold has one overwhelming sink: your combat stats. ATK, HP, HP Recovery, and the critical family all level with gold, the caps run to 1,750,000 levels, and costs scale relentlessly - which means gold demand outgrows gold income for the entire life of your account. There is no "enough." Every promotion multiplies the value of stats, stats cost gold, and so the whole game quietly reduces to a gold engine with a sword attached.

The Multiplier Stack

Base gold per kill scales with your stage - steeply. Deep stages don't pay 20% more than shallow ones, they pay orders of magnitude more, which is why stage pushing is gold farming. On top of that base, the game offers a remarkable tower of multipliers, and serious farmers stack all of them:

  • Luck (LUK) - the miscellaneous stat that directly increases gold from kills. Cheap early levels, always worth keeping current.
  • Extra Monster Gold rolls - on your Slayer promotion abilities (3-40% per slot by rarity) and optionally on companion promotion options.
  • Miho's Gold Rush - the companion skill boosting total gold. One of the big levers; level it.
  • Todd's Gold Rumble - the spirit granting a 10-80% chance of double gold on every acquisition. The single most famous farming spirit in the game.
  • Lucky Pendent - the relic adding monster-defeat gold (yes, that's the in-game spelling), drip-leveled over months.
  • Extra Gold engraving pieces - the line-shaped soul weapon gems, worth slotting in dedicated farming grids.
  • Skill mastery gold nodes - post-Ether, the mastery tree sells permanent extra gold. Buy it.
  • Gold ads - the daily ad-reward gold claims (several per day, scaling with progression). Free money for thirty seconds of tolerance.
  • Hot Time - weekend events with 2x gold. Plan your heavy farming sessions around them, seriously - a Saturday of stacked farming outearns a scattered week.

Each layer multiplies the others. A player with Todd, Miho, LUK, gold rolls, and a Hot Time weekend isn't earning 20% more than baseline - they're earning several times more, on every kill, thousands of kills per hour. This is the compounding that separates accounts.

Where to Farm

The rule from the farming guide applies doubly to gold: farm the highest stage you clear instantly. Gold per kill rises with stage, but kills per minute collapse when you're grinding through packs slowly - the product of the two is what fills your wallet. If you've just pushed a wall, step back a stage or two for farming sessions; if your "comfortable" stage hasn't moved in a while, that's a promotion or upgrade overdue, and fixing it raises your entire gold curve at once.

Spending It Well

Mostly: spend it, constantly, on stats. Gold hoarded is gold shrinking - every hour of progression inflates costs and income together, so banked gold buys fewer levels tomorrow than today. Keep ATK leading (it drives stage pushing, which drives income), keep HP and recovery close enough to survive bosses, and feed the crit stats as they unlock their multipliers. The one nuance: before a promotion attempt, a focused dump into the exact stats the fight demands (survival, usually) beats spreading evenly. Otherwise - earn, spend, push, repeat. The engine only works if you keep turning it.
