Early Game Roadmap
Milestone-by-milestone roadmap for the early game of Slayer Legend - promotions, class unlock, training diary, diamond priorities, and daily habits up to Ether (~stage 340).
The Shape of the Early Game
The community draws the line at the Ether promotion (around stage 340) - everything before that is "early game," and it mostly plays itself if you keep your stats fed and your promotions taken. That doesn't mean decisions don't matter; it means the game is generous enough to absorb your mistakes. This roadmap covers the milestones in order and the habits worth building. For everything after Ether, Andy's Progression Guide picks up exactly where this leaves off.
Milestones in Order
Levels 1-100: Follow the guide quests, dump gold into ATK, equip every skill you unlock. Your first promotions land here - Bronze is recommended around level 50, Iron around 90. At level 100 you unlock the ability to rename your character.
Levels 100-250: Silver promotion around 180, Gold around 300. Somewhere in here you'll hit stage 120, and at level 250 the Class system unlocks - classes are summoned with
Diamonds and act as another permanent ATK/HP multiplier on top of promotions. Combine five of a grade to climb to the next grade.
Level 400: The Training Diary unlocks - three daily sessions with Sepir that convert into Over Points and raised stat caps. From this point on, doing your diary is part of the daily routine. Don't skip it.
Onward to Ether: Mithril (recommended ~450), Orichalcum (~600), Arcanite (~700), Adamant (~850), and Ether (~1000) promotions follow. Around this stretch soul weapons come online (the first crafts unlock in the Black Forest region, stages 61-80, but the system deepens dramatically later), and dungeon dailies become your main material income.
Where Should Your Diamonds Go?
This is the early-game question, and the community consensus is pretty settled: weapon summons first. Weapons are one of your two primary damage sources and the summon pool pays out across your whole account. After weapons, classes are the next priority, then spirits, then accessories. What you should not do is gamble diamonds on relic pulls early - relics are a slow-burn system and the same diamonds do far more work in weapon summons. It is tempting. Resist it.
The game showers a surprising amount of free diamonds on you daily through quests, ads, and login rewards - treat them as income to invest, not a windfall to splurge.
Early Skill Picks
You'll refine builds endlessly later, but a reliable early spread: passives Earth's Will, Iron Will, Speed Sword, Burning Sword (permanent ATK and attack speed scaling), and actives with wide coverage like Fulgurous, Red Lightning, Thunderbolt Slash for farming, swapping toward single-target hitters like Giga Strike and Hellfire Slash for promotion bosses. Details and full skill data live in the Skill Database, and you can plan loadouts in the Skill Builder.
Daily Habits That Compound
- Spend your
Glow Feathers (10 per day from login and quests) on dungeon runs - the Closed Mine's enhance cubes are your equipment progression. - Use both daily ad scrolls during an active farming session - a 300% drop-rate hour is worth planning around.
- Weekend Hot Time doubles gold and EXP. Push stages and farm hard on weekends.
- Do the training diary sessions once unlocked. Three a day, every day.
None of these take long, and they compound. The players who pull ahead in this game are not the ones grinding hardest - they're the ones who never miss the five-minute dailies. Be that player.
