Training Diary
The Training Diary in Slayer Legend - daily sessions with Sepir, Over Points, raised stat caps, how to prioritize, and the mistakes that cost you progress.
Training Diary Overview
This content unlocks when your character reaches level 400 and allows you to gain additional growth points to level up your stats. This is done by obtaining
Over Points every 100 levels and completing training with Sepir which increases the current level cap of your stats in the growth points section.

You will have three training sessions per day with Sepir. During each training session, you must reach 10,000 SP to unlock 20
Over Points. Once unlocked, you may distribute these
Over Points to specific stats. Each stat has a maximum
Over Points cap, which increases every time you gain 100 levels. You can reset your
Over Points for
5,000.

If you reach 10,000 SP while training with Sepir but have not yet gained 100 levels, you may continue training with the training dummy to earn
Experience (EXP). Training with the dummy is available up to three times per day.
Why the Diary Matters
By the time the diary unlocks at level 400, growth points are already one of your core stat sources - every level you gain hands you points to allocate across your combat and miscellaneous stats. What the diary changes is the ceiling. Growth-point stats have level caps, and training with Sepir is what raises them; Over Points then fill the room the raised caps create. In other words, the diary isn't a bonus system sitting off to the side - it is the mechanism that lets your growth-point allocation keep scaling for the rest of the game.
The individual numbers look small. Twenty Over Points per session, three sessions a day - that's easy to shrug at when your ATK stat has six digits. But the diary is the textbook case of a daily system that compounds: sessions take a few minutes, the points are permanent, and a missed day is simply gone. The farming guide's rule applies here in full - daily-limited sources don't stack up, you claim them or lose them. Over months, the gap between a player who never skips the diary and one who does it "when they remember" is a real, visible stat difference, and the diligent player paid almost nothing in time for it.
The dummy trainings deserve their own mention. They're one of the few EXP sources that don't depend on your farming stage at all - flat, guaranteed EXP three times a day (see the Leveling Guide for where they fit in the wider EXP picture). Post-400, every 100 levels means more Over Points and higher caps, so dummy EXP feeds directly back into the diary loop. It's a tidy little flywheel: train, level, unlock more training.
Prioritizing Your Over Points
Treat Over Points the way you treat every other stat decision in this game: hedge if you like, but the answer is usually ATK. Attack is what pushes stages, pushed stages raise every reward stream, and the rest of the wiki's stat advice - from first steps through Andy's guide - points the same direction. The exceptions are the honest ones:
- Survival walls. If a promotion battle is killing you rather than out-scaling you, shift points into HP and HP Recovery until it stops. Promotion fights are timed, and staying alive is half the DPS check.
- Critical Damage earns its share once your critical stats are developed, since crit damage multiplies with the rest of the critical family rather than adding to it.
You can reset your Over Point allocation for
5,000 - noticeably steeper than the 3,000-diamond growth-point reset - so it's worth having a rough plan before you spray points everywhere. Not a detailed spreadsheet plan. Just "ATK unless something specific is wrong" will do.
Common Mistakes
- Skipping sessions. The big one. Three per day, no banking, no catch-up mechanic. Fold the diary into your daily lap alongside dungeon runs and login rewards and it stops being a thing you remember - it's just part of the routine.
- Leaving Over Points unspent. Points sitting in your pool do nothing. Unlocked means spend.
- Forgetting the dummy. Finishing Sepir's session and closing the menu leaves free EXP on the table. The dummy trainings are separate from the Sepir sessions - check both.
- Resetting casually. At 5,000 diamonds a reset, "I'll just re-spec real quick" is an expensive habit. Diamonds do far more work in weapon summons than in fixing avoidable allocation mistakes.
