Core Mechanics

How Slayer Legend actually works - combat and stages, stats, mana and skills, the four elements, promotions, and idle rewards.

The Combat Loop

Your Slayer walks right and kills what's in front of them. Each stage sends waves of monsters and ends with a boss challenge - beat the boss, advance to the next stage, repeat across the game's 2,000 stages - the stage pages document every stage to 1,360 in full and the named chapters beyond it. If a boss is too strong you stay on the current stage and keep farming it, which is not a failure state: everything the stage drops - gold, EXP, cubes, stones, equipment - keeps flowing while you grow. Pushing and farming are the two modes of the whole game.

Stats Are the Engine

Gold levels your combat stats, and combat stats decide everything. ATK determines your damage, HP and HP Recovery keep you alive against bosses, and the critical stats (Critical %, Critical Damage, and later Death Strike) multiply your output on top. Stat levels run deep - the current cap on main stats is 1,750,000 - so gold never stops being useful. The full breakdown, including growth points and the miscellaneous stats like Luck and Accuracy, lives on the Stats page.

One thing worth internalizing early: almost every system in this game is, at the end of the day, another multiplier on ATK and HP. Promotions, classes, equipment, spirits, companions - they stack multiplicatively on your base stats. That is why the game keeps feeling fresh: each new system is another lever.

Mana and Skills

Active skills cost MP and run on cooldowns; passive skills are always-on buffs while equipped. Your MP pool recovers over time, which means mana recovery genuinely matters for skill-heavy builds (this is Luna's whole job, if you were wondering about the companions). The Auto toggle fires your actives for you - leave it on unless you are manually timing skills for a boss.

The Four Elements

Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth run through everything: skills carry an element, attribute damage boosts one element's output, and companions, spirits, and familiars each align to one. You don't need to sweat elemental strategy in the early game - but when you later see "Fire DMG +x%" on a relic or a black orb option, that is what it feeds.

Promotions: The Big Multipliers

Every promotion rank is a one-time boss battle that permanently multiplies your ATK and HP - from Bronze's x2 all the way up to multipliers in the tens of millions at the highest ranks. Promotions are the spine of progression; the stage wall you hit is very often just a promotion you haven't taken yet. Recommended levels and the full multiplier table are on the Promotions page.

Idle Rewards

The game keeps earning while you're away - gold, EXP, enhance cubes, attribute stones, and more, all scaled to your highest stage. Offline earnings are leaner than active play (active farming with ad buffs beats idling by a wide margin), but they are far from nothing, and some materials - enhance cubes especially, plus white souls for soul weapons later - accumulate respectably overnight. Check in, collect, spend, push. That's the rhythm.
