Stage Milestones

Every Slayer Legend system that unlocks at a stage number, what scales with your deepest clear, and which content is gated by character level instead.

What Unlocks at Which Stage

Stage number is one of the two progression currencies in Slayer Legend - character level is the other - and a surprising amount of the game is locked behind it. These are the discrete unlocks, in order.

StageUnlocksNotes
Every 5 Memory EssenceNot a one-time unlock - every fifth stage cleared pays essence, which feeds the Memory Tree and raises resource gain across the game
40Emergency RequestA one-time, thirty-tier reward chain. Non-repeatable once completed, and it pays out in diamonds, emeralds, attribute stones, feathers and summon tickets
80Soul Weapon craftingThe last stage of the Black Forest. New soul weapon tiers then appear roughly every twenty stages from here onward
100Cyclic Forest dungeonAlso called the Forest of Circulation. Rewards mana crystals; three free entries a day
120Class systemAlso requires character level 250. The single most important early goal in the game - clear 120 and the whole class and awakening tree opens
300SpiritsThe spirit system opens on clearing stage 300
320Soul Weapon EngravingTied to crafting a stage-320-tier soul weapon or better

Beyond these, individual events and cosmetics carry their own gates - the client has generic strings for "Opens upon clearing Stage N" and "Can be equipped after clearing stage N" - so seasonal content routinely asks for a specific stage without it being a permanent system unlock.

What Scales With Your Deepest Clear

Just as important, and much easier to miss: several systems do not unlock at a stage, they simply get better the deeper you have ever been. The client says so explicitly.

  • Auto-hunting rewards - "the auto hunting reward is determined by the highest reached stage." Your offline income is set by your record, not by where you are parked.
  • Black Mana - "the amount of Black Mana that can be obtained per day increases according to the highest stage cleared." A daily cap that rises purely with depth. See black orbs.
  • Battlefield EXP - "gain more EXP on the battlefield with each stage you clear."
  • The Stage Gold multiplier - a permanent gold bonus that steps up roughly every ten stages from stage 90 onward, reaching ×26.5 by stage 1,376. See stage rewards.

This is why pushing is worth doing even into stages you have no intention of farming. A stage you clear once and walk away from still permanently raises your idle income, your daily Black Mana and every gold reward you will ever collect.

Milestones In the Stage Table Itself

Separately from unlocks, the stage data has its own thresholds - the points where a number stops moving for good. These are the ones worth knowing, because past each one there is no point waiting for it to improve:

StageWhat changes
2Diamonds start appearing in idle rewards
28Dice start appearing in idle rewards
141Souls start appearing in idle rewards
221Equipment drops reach Legendary 3 and never improve again
321Idle diamonds cap at 6
441Enemy attack speed locks at 0.6
501Boss health locks at exactly 500× a normal monster
521Dice per clear cap at 20
827Attribute stone chance caps at 1.725%
1,001Equipment drop chance locks at 0.118%

Full detail on all of these is on the rewards and scaling and drops pages.

Not Stage-Gated: the Level Track

This trips up a lot of players. Most of the Adventure menu is gated by character level, not by stage, so grinding stages will not open it and vice versa.

ContentGateEntry limitRewards
Closed Great MineCharacter level 200Costs feathers; 10 runs base, up to 30Gold, EXP, diamonds, emeralds, attribute stones
Training CaveCharacter level ~245-2505 per day (2 free + 3 paid)EXP, rare class item drops
Spacetime RiftCharacter level 2803 free, more with purple feathersEnhancement cubes, plus its own ranking track
Sleeping Flame's HideoutCharacter level ~265-3003 free per dayDragon's Power, Dragon's Flame
Cyclic ForestStage 1003 free, more with cyan feathersMana crystals
GuildSilver promotion (around level 180)-Guild quests, Divine Beast, seasonal events

Only the Cyclic Forest is stage-gated. Everything else on that menu wants levels, which come from EXP farming and promotions rather than from pushing depth.

Sources disagree slightly on two of these - the Training Cave is quoted as both 245 and 250, and Sleeping Flame's Hideout as both 265 and 300, most likely because the figures were recorded from different game versions. Both ranges are given rather than picking one.

How Far the Road Goes

The stage ceiling has moved repeatedly, and each raise is documented in the official patch notes:

PatchCeiling
v408Stage packages up to stage 300
v415640
v420.2.1700
v420.5.9740
v420.6.4Regions added at 840
v420.6.7Regions added at 900

The current game client goes considerably further than any of those notes describe: it defines 83 named chapters covering stages 1 to 1,660, plus two further unnamed chapter slots waiting to be filled. Whether every one of those chapters is live in your build depends on your version, but the names are in the client, and this wiki lists all of them - see the full stage list.

A Sensible Order to Chase Them

  1. Stage 40 for the Emergency Request chain - it is free diamonds and it is quick.
  2. Stage 80 for soul weapon crafting, then keep clearing for blueprints.
  3. Stage 120 plus level 250 for the class system. This is the real early-game goal; everything is easier afterwards.
  4. Stage 100 for the Cyclic Forest, which will happen on the way.
  5. Stage 300 for spirits, and 320 for engraving - by this point rewards are large enough that the game changes character.
  6. After that, there are no more system unlocks on the road. Everything past stage 320 is about scale: gold multipliers, soul income, and the daily caps that rise with your deepest clear.
